In the year 2018 1700 CLASSICS was born. We are an independent CD label created by musicians who love music. Here you won’t see a big executive or a marketing director at the head of our project. That makes us different. It makes us more sensible. In short, it makes us unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our label is created by baroque violinist and conductor, Daniel Pinte\u00f1o<\/strong>. Since its beginning, our releases have explored some of the lesser known instrumental and vocal repertoires for the general public. Music that will undoubtedly surprise you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have enjoyed in our recordings the voices of sopranos Aurora Pe\u00f1a or Ana Vieira Leite as well as the fantastic countertenor Carlos Mena. The 1700 CLASSICS catalog features record releases directly related to music in 18th century Spain. You will find composers you will fall in love with such as Antonio Literes, Jos\u00e9 Castel, Jose de Torres, Gaetano Brunetti, among others. Don’t you know them? Since we released our first title “Jos\u00e9 de Torres: Amoroso Se\u00f1or” published in 2018 we have stood out for developing in each disc a careful and attractive design as well as for offering the highest technical quality in our recordings. We don’t say it ourselves. It is said by media from half of Europe such as Scherzo magazine, El Cultural, Radio France, NPO 3, Rivista Musica or the Bayerischer Rundfunk to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
